Over the past month I have been making graseby for our patients, I wasn't aware at first about who they were nor what was included in the graseby. It slowly became my daily routine and I'm starting to realise who it was for and what was in it. The dose of morphine increases day by day and with other drugs slowly added to the regimen - I know the patient isn't feeling too well. Then one day, there is no more order for a graseby, I know the reason why. May be it's not a bad thing afterall, but it wasn't easy taking back the graseby for the patient I cared for.
